Martins' Chronicles

     The Pamela Martins Foundation was created to support families in crisis. It focuses on families going through financial hardship due to an illness.

     These families often times are in need of basic life necessities such as food, clothing, and money for transportation and utilities. Some are even facing possible loss of their homes and separation of family members.

     When we were going through Pam's treatments for brain cancer, even though we had adequate health insurance, we were amazed at the health costs that piled up from co-pays, deductibles and non-covered medical expenses. We thank God for supplying our needs however, the experience made us painfully aware of the potential financial devastation that could be brought on by a sudden and costly illness.

     As christians we are called to carry one another's burden.
